Post wedding (aka “Trash The Dress”) sessions are fun. But some of them are a BLAST. Such was yesterday’s session with Maria. Am I surprised it was so great? No way! Maria is beautiful, creative and playful. I am so happy with the results!!!

Oh, what a treat it was to get together with Maria and Chris and their wonderful families to photograph their wedding at the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club! And, as if the event and the venue weren’t spectacular enough, it was a Celebration of Light fireworks evening. It was breathtaking, see for yourself….

Tracey+Mark {wedding}

Late post from last month’s wedding. We had a pleasure to photograph Tracey and Mark tying the knot in Stanley Park. It was our third time photographing a wedding at the Vancouver Rowing Club and once again the event was spectacular! Both Tracey and Mark looked great and were very relaxed, surrounded by their wonderful families and friends. They did a great job converting the club’s interior into a chic cocktail party ballroom.

It was fantastic to photograph you guys again. Hope to see you soon!

Dance Recital

We photographed a super fun event – dance recital for a premier Coquitlam dance school – Mellado Dance Elite. We had an opportunity to watch and photograph the dress rehearsal on Thursday and then the actual stage performances on Saturday and Sunday. We loved watching the kids perform, talk to the parents and breathe the atmosphere of a recital. Very different experience from wedding photography, very theatrical and dramatic. But at the same time very demanding and great timing practice!George in our “booth” in the theatre’s lobby, relaxing during the intermission.
