Winter Engagement Photography on Granville Island and in Jericho Park | Vancouver Wedding Photographers

We shot our first engagement session of the year this weekend and we could not have asked for a better couple to photograph. Kimmie and Jeff were in Vancouver only for a couple of weeks and only three days before they were leaving for their home in Ontario we managed to get together under a relatively nice Vancouver sky. We started our photo session on Granville Island – we love that place and so do our couples, engagement sessions there are always interesting, with endless supply of industrial backdrops, grunge gates and stairwells and corrugated steel walled warehouses.

But what made this session great wasn’t the backdrops but Kimmie and Jeff’s sparkling personalities. They are fun, inventive, full of life and love. And after we moved to photograph in Jericho Beach and Park, their little baby Scarlett brightened the mood even more.

Thank you guys for such a great start to our engagement photography season. See you in September at your wedding!

P.S. Did our balloon make it to Coquitlam?

George and Marta,

….and this is why I chose YOU!!! I knew you could capture the sparkle between Kimmie and Jeff.. I am so excited now knowing that they will have amazing photos on their wedding day as well.. Thank you both for your creativity, and dedication to detail. It’s all that I hoped for and more…. toothfully, mother of the bride, Leslie Bryan

Jeff and I are so happy with all the pictures you posted. Thank you so much, you made us look fantastic! That was a lovely afternoon and not a drop of rain.
I think I spotted our Valentine balloon heading towards the border on our way home… hehehe

I really like these photos. You did a great job of capturing some wonderful moments between the couple. The photo on the wooden steps and the shot behind the wrought iron bars are two of my faves. Great job.
